In Poland, the Terminator was called The Electronic Murderer

And a bunch of other things you didn't know about the Terminator. 

1. Terminator kills over 30 people in the film. Sequel says only 17.
   Counting dead bodies in the Terminator is actually surprisingly hard. Especially when you do it as a drinking game.
   
2. Terminator kills Bill Paxton (maybe).
   Bill Paxton plays a punk with blue hair killed by the Terminator. He is also killed in Alien by the Alien. And Predator as well. Give this man a life achievement award.
   
3. The Terminator doesn’t translate very well to other languages.
   In Poland, he’s called ‘The Electronic Murderer.'
   
4. Mel Gibson turned down the role.
   Also considered for T-800 was Tom Selleck, Michael Douglas, Kevin Klein, and O.J. Simpson. The last embodied the role in another occasion (allegedly).
   
5. Arnold was supposed to play Riece. But wanted a cooler role killing people.
   Who could blame him really. This became a problem in T-2 when Arnold became a good guy. So they rewrote the script so that arnold can kill a bunch of people before Connor tells him to stop.
   
6. Bridget Fonda was supposed to play Sarah Connor.
   Cameron wrote the role with her in mind.
   
7. 40 different actresses were offered the role before Linda Hamilton.
   Including: Susan Sarandon, Glenn Close, Sigourney Weaver, Jodie Foster, Liza Minnelli, Meg Ryan, and Madonna. I shit you not. Madonna.
   
8. Linda Hamilton actually has an identical twin sister, used in T-2, playing T-1000 for a bit.
   
9. Cameron wrote Alien while waiting for Schwarzenegger.
   Arnold postponed production to do Conan the Destroyer. So in the down time, Cameron wrote Alien. Not a bad use of time.
   
10. During that time, Cameron was so broke he lived off McDonalds deals.
    Specifically, the Big Mac ‘buy one get one free’ deal. He would eat one and save the other to eat the next day.
